The word achar is so spicy to hear if it make the combination with chicken it will enhance your eating taste .So, there is no doubt that is achari chicken recipe spicy? The achari chicken recipe is no doubt is mouth watered recipe of every kitchen. Chicken Achari is an Indian dish it simple made by adding achaar or pickle in achari chicken marinade form. But with the time goes a lot of dishes which are made with achar pickles or many other achari masalas are available in market such as:

 As, it is a healthy meal with its ingredients so, it is demand by the kids in their lunch and party time.In Pakistan many food lovers likes chicken achari dish but it is mostly eaten in Punjab province. So, it is very authentic dish of Pakistan as it likes everywhere and it has become the part of restaurants menus. Now in Asian countries like India, Bangladesh and Pakistan it becomes popular.    

With the passage of time, according to cooking trend and area location the name of achari chicken recipe like as;

Ingredients of achari chicken recipe:

  • 1 kg chicken boti
  • 1 bowl plan yogurt
  • 9 to 10 whole green chillis
  • ½ kg tomato’s in chopped form
  • 2 onions (chopped form)
  • ½ tea spoon Mixed grind gram masala
  • ½ tsp grind dry dhaniya
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • National achar gosht masala one packet
  • Salt as you test
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp shredded ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • ½ cup cooking oil
  • 3 to 4 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp red chili flakes
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • 1 cup water

Cooking Method:

Step 1: Heat oil in plan pan. At medium flameStep 2: Now put chicken into heated oil. Fry until it turns into light golden color. Then stain out it into dish.

Step 3: After this add chopped tomatoes and chopped onion in this heated oil.

Cook for 2 to 3 mints. Next add one cup of water in it. Cover it with lid let it cook for 10 mints.

Step 4: After cooked tomatoes and onions well then make its paste by grinder or hand blander.

Step 5: Add fry chicken in tomatoes and onion paste and cook at low flame.

Step 6: Next add ginger and garlic paste in it. Add gram masala powder, cumin seeds, dry coriander powder, salt as your test, red chili flakes and cook it well.

Step 7: Add national achar masala half packet in a bowl yogurt and mixed it well.

Step 8: Take 4 tbs national masala in a bowl and add 4 tbs fresh lemon juices without seeds in it mixed it well then stuffed this mixture into 8 to 9 medium size whole green chilies.

Step 9: add mixed yogurt into chicken and let it cook for 10 to 15 mints at medium flame. After this a very yummy aroma comes from achari chicken that make more appetizing.

Step 10: Add stuffed green chiles and cover it with lid let it for steam for 2 to 3 mints.  

Step 11: now dish out achar gosht and garnish it with shredded ginger and Coriander leaves.

You can serve this chicken achari recipe with paratha, roti, naan, tandoori roti and also with white rice.

This recipe can cook at home by traditional method just by adding pickle of any from (mango, green chilies) in chicken masala.
